A simple solution to back pain
I've been spending a lot of time in the chair the past year working on various code and found myself experiencing some lower back pain for the first time in my life – without some aggravating injury.
A simple solution that worked for me:
- Lay prone on the floor for 2 minutes
- From the prone position, place your arms under your shoulders & brace yourself up in a plank like position but your legs still remain on the floor. Do this for 2 minutes.
- Finally, fully extend your arms, lined up under your shoulders, to push from the prone position to fully curve your back as far as possible for 2 minutes.
Repeat this multiple times a day. Your back pain will localize then eventually dissipate within days or weeks.
